Several years ago I had a goal to find the absolute best water filtration system on the market. I bought several systems at a local store, but I wasn’t pleased. Especially when I realized they didn’t filter out bacteria, fluoride, herbicides, pesticides, parasites, mercury or a list of other harmful contaminants.

In the process of looking for a filter, I couldn’t believe all I was learning about my local tap water. With hormones, birth control, and many other things coming out of my faucet, I can’t believe the city claims it’s safe to drink. I needed a filter that would eliminate all the harmful contaminants I might otherwise consume. I also needed a system that was affordable and looked out for my best interest. Sadly, this was more challenging to find than it should be.

You don’t need electricity or water pressure and it can filter at least four gallons of water an hour. It sits perfectly on your countertop and can be taken with you during travels.

In addition, the taste of the water is amazing. It’s fresh and pure tasting and I loved it from the moment I tried it.
